  • PHOTO DIARY: SINGAPORE NIGHT AND DAY 2

PHOTO DIARY: SINGAPORE NIGHT AND DAY 2

I haven't had time to update this blog since I was sick last week. (Maybe I should spend less time at the beach.) Anyways, here's a continuation post on my Singapore trip:

Cool artwork on the walls of Haji Lane. It's this little lane hidden away, where you could find a lot of vintage stuff from independent shopping boutiques.

I did more shopping at Ion Orchard. I was going crazy with all the shops there. So many to choose from and not enough money on my budget! Hahaha.

On our last night in Singapore, we had dinner at Ku Dé Ta. It's located on the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. It offers a world class cuisine and an amazing view of the city. It also has a Sky Bar which is right above the public observation deck. The location had one of the best rooftop views of Singapore.

I styled my hair in a simple ponytail but then it looked way cooler with this gold hair cuff I bought from H&M earlier that day.

More adrenaline rush from the reverse bungy at Clark Quay! After riding it, you can buy a USB with video footage of your experience riding the G-max. My brother looked so hilarious in his video. He looked like he was about to get a heart attack! Hahaha.

We strolled around a bit and found some Turkish ice cream. You had to line up for a couple of minutes since the ice cream man does a little show for you before he gives you your ice cream. It's one of Clark Quay's little attractions. It's like one moment you're holding the cone then the next moment , it's gone!

We headed back to the hotel after visiting Clark Quay and we were off to the airport the next morning. After a three hour flight, we were back home and back to reality. Summer's not over yet so I'll be posting more travel posts soon! x
  • PEACE SIGNS AND POLAROIDS

    PEACE SIGNS AND POLAROIDS

Once again, I went to the beach today. I'm really exhausted so I'm gonna cut this post short. It was pretty sudden and I wasn't really sure about going since I was just at the beach yesterday. But, I wanna make the most out of my summer so... I ended up going anyways!

I am enjoying all this going to the beach but my skin doesn't seem to feel the same way. My legs are so itchy from something that bit me in the water. Then I broke my favourite pair of flip flops. Well technically, Lora did. Hahaha. It was all worth it though because I definitely had a great time.

    xx Stephanie
  • HIPFLASKS ON THE BEACH

    HIPFLASKS ON THE BEACH

One of my favourite things about summer is the beach. We went to the beach for Aaron's birthday today. I didn't think the plan would fall through but it actually did! We had a lot of fun. It was a great day spent with good vibes and good company.

We stayed in Mactan Newtown afterwards for dinner because of certain transportation troubles. Hahaha. It wasn't so bad though since we got to play around in the kiddie play area at McDonald's.

  • DENIM

    DENIM

I had another photo shoot with Kelsey today! We were trying to pull off a street style themed kind of shoot. We both dressed in denim and took a lot of candid shots. The weather was in our favour and it helped us get some great lighting in our photos.

One thing I'd like to remind you all is to never forget to bring your sunnies when you go out! It's summer and you never know when you're gonna need it. A pair of sunnies can really help accessorize your look. Kelsey and I were just taking turns wearing the one and only pair we brought with us. Haha!

  • WASTED DAYLIGHT

    WASTED DAYLIGHT

Today, I wanted to get some sun and go out for a swim. But, it was four in the afternoon and I didn't want to go all the way to the beach which was about forty five minutes away. I went out to a swimming pool instead. It didn't have the sandy shores and salty waves but it was the closest thing I could get. Haha. Anyways, my post title is based on the song "Wasted Daylight" by Stars. I first heard it on Skins, one of my fave tv series. I haven't really been posting much about the kind of music I listen to so here's an idea on what kind of music I like.

These hair flip pictures aren't me by the way. Hahaha. These are photos of Oshin, and it took about three tries to get good ones thanks to my handy Casio that can shoot 30 fps.

  • PHOTO DIARY: SINGAPORE DAY 1

    PHOTO DIARY: SINGAPORE DAY 1

So for Holy Week, I needed some time off away for awhile. And for some reason, I've been really wanting to go to a theme park. It was either Universal Studios Singapore or Hong Kong Disneyland. Since I haven't been to the Universal Studios in Singapore yet, I guess that was our destination for the week! I had an amazing time and I finally got that adrenaline rush that I so badly wanted by riding the Battlestar Galactica roller coaster.

More on my Singapore experience on my next blog posts! x
