Apologies for the absence. It's been a crazy past couple of weeks, flying all around the States. This is the first time in so long that I've just sat down and chilled.
Anyways, here are some photos from the Art Institute Chicago. I definitely fell in love with the museum. I stayed there up until they closed and even that wasn't enough time for to see everything in there. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go back there in the near future.
This is the coolest thing ever. It was a bunch of printers, printing endless tweets from all over the world, using receipt paper. There was no label beside this exhibit so I searched it online. Turns out, it's called Thermal Tweeter. There was paper all over the floor. And yes, it's totally the most wasteful thing ever. This was apparently a homage to all the waste created by checkout receipts. Unlike a store checkout, your tweet creates wastes. Basically don't tweet, and save the earth.
